Our first Pinot Noir Deal has SOLD OUT! Here's a new one... John Bibby established himself as an iron merchant, owned and chartered sailing vessels, and was constantly on the lookout for trading opportunities. Tragically, he was murdered one night in July 1840. The case was never solved and the file remains in the archives of the Merseyside Police. Andy Bibby is a descendant of this illustrious shipping family, and proof that the Bibby entrepreneurial spirit continues down the family line with this lovely Bibby Pinot Noir 2010.
Aromas of sweet ripe cherry andand boysenberry with undertones of toasty oak and thyme. On the palate this wine is fresh and clean, well-structured, with flavours of cherry and plum which continue with a lengthy finish.
The 2009 Bibby Pinot Noir was a very popular wine with our Grabbies, and we've delighted to have secured some of the 2010 vintage for you all!
