Murray's Road Wines says they annually produce some 10,000 cases, with the majority of these being exported around the world. We're lucky enough to have snagged some of their Pinot Gris for our GrabOne Bottle friends today, and better yet, it's near a steal at $9 per bottle!
Described by Bob Campbell as "Pure Pinot Gris with attractive pear and apricot flavours. A hint of sweetness is nicely balanced by fine tannins leaving an off/dry finish. Well made wine in a delicate style."
Michael Cooper says: "Faintly pink-hued, single-vineyard wine from the heart of the Wairau Plains. Full-bodied, with generous, peachy spicy flavours and a slightly sweet, well-rounded finish."
Murray's Road is a boutique but growing wine label that unsurprisingly hails from Murray's Rd, Spring Creek. The brand began through Marlborough Grape Producers, a close-knit group of growers from the Spring Creek area.
