Description

Kevern Walker is a small boutique winery with a 25 acre vineyard in the Ngatarawa Triangle of Hawke's Bay, producing small volumes of wine with 95% exported to the UK. This wonderfully aged smooth 2004 Merlot is a steal at just $11 per bottle!

This merlot blend is attractively scented with fresh vibrant plum, blackcurrrant and spice flavours, oak complexity and soft tannins. The wine is drinking very well presently, but can be cellared for a few more years yet, should you wish.

Many of NZ's best Merlots are being grown in the Hawke's Bay region and this up and coming winery is a good example of the standards being attained.
