The nose shows rose petals, aniseed, gentle spice and juicy sultana (a ripe rather than dried fruit character). The wine is off dry with good palate weight and the aniseed spiciness is like a delicate seasoning that doesn’t overpower the fruit. Texture is like a plump nectarine with citrus/navel orange flavours. Rose petal flavours linger on finish.
