Gibbston Highgate is a boutique family owned vineyard and winery passionate about growing and creating artisan wines, of excellence and beauty. Dense and deep ruby, with crimson hues and brooding fruit aromas. The palate is silky with fine grained oak tannins, a touch of spice, slowly unwinding and lingering it brings up rich fruit and chocolate notes.

This wine comes from a long line of award winners, including the 2006 vintage which won numerous gold and silver medals. Awarded 4.5 Stars from Michael Cooper : "This estate-grown, Gibbston red was French oak-matured for 12 months and bottled unfined and unfiltered. Deep ruby, it is mouthfilling, with cherry, plum and spice flavours, showing good complexity and depth. Drink now or cellar."
