By promising businesses a minimum number of customers, we get huge discounts you won't find anywhere else. It's like we always say – "Buy Together, Save Together"

I like today's deal – how do I get my hands on it?

Just click "Buy!" before the offer ends or is sold out. If enough people sign up, Direct Wines will charge your card and we will send you an email confirming your purchase. If not enough people join, no one gets the deal (and your card won't be charged), so invite your friends to make sure you get the deal!

Do I have to sign up a group of people I know to get the deal?

Nope – our growing ranks of members make up a big enough group. But you'll probably want to invite people you know anyway — lots of our deals are fun to use together with family and friends .

What happens if the GrabOne Bottle doesn't reach its required minimum number of purchasers?

If not enough people sign up to buy, then the deal is canceled, and you won't be charged. Better luck next time! So if you really want the coupon, be sure to lay a guilt trip on your friends, family and collegues.

How many GrabOne Bottles are there in each Deal?

This is a closely guarded secret. It varies from deal to deal, there is always a limit, but we try to secure as many as we can.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Direct Wines currently accepts Visa, MasterCard and American Express.

Am I billed as soon as I join a GrabOne Bottle deal?

No way – you are only ever charged if the deal reaches the required minimum. Yes really.

What happens after my payment has been processed?

Once you have completed your order and payment has been processed we will send you an email straight away confirming your purchase and start processing your order.

How long does it take to receive my order?

It takes 4 – 5 days to receive your order depending on your location and depending on which day of the week you made your order (note that there are no deliveries on Sunday). A small delivery fee will be added to each order, pick-ups are not permitted.

Can I change my order after my payment has been accepted?

Unfortunately once you’ve submitted your order and payment has been processed and accepted we can’t make changes to the quantity or delivery address details. Our logistics team process and dispatch orders rapidly!

Do you ship to addresses outside of New Zealand?

No, we currently ship within New Zealand only.

Can I order as a gift for someone else?

Unfortunately no, as we are unable to verify that the recipient of the wine is 18 years of age or over.

What is your Returns Policy?

Our policy is that we guarantee all wines 100%. We provide a no questions asked, money back or replacement guarantee. If you’re not happy for any reason simply return the unopened wines to Direct Wines, 19d Triton Drive, Albany, Auckland for a full refund or replacement. If the wine turns out to be spoilt or "corked" (which is rare) we will also refund reasonable return postage costs. If you want, give us a call on: 0800 472 2663

Do you ever remove comments from the discussion board?

Generally, no. We only remove comments when someone is making personal attacks, engaging in other forms of trolling or has posted entirely in caps.

Why do you only feature one deal a day? I want more deals!

How did we get the name "GrabOne Bottle"?

Obviously we are named after Georg Arnold-Graboné, a famous German impressionistic painter. Friends with both Eisenhower and Churchill who was widely recognised as one of the worlds leading deal procurers. If you look carefully enough you can find his signature on our homepage.

Do you have a GST number? Can I get an invoice?

Yes, GrabOne Bottle acting as agent for Direct Wines can issue invoices on their behalf and if you'd like an invoice you can download one from here.
