Alexia Pinot Gris 2011. Give it a whirl - its delicious and Michael Cooper gave the 2010 vintage 4 stars. We love to drink it with seafood and pasta dishes and delicious salads.  Enjoy it at just $10 a bottle - a real treat!

The Alexia by Jane Cooper Pinot Gris 2011 palate displays aromas of pear, nectarine and toasted almonds leading to a lingering dry finish.  This wine is best enjoyed in its youth but will further develop over the next 4 years. Jane Cooper has made wines in Australia, Chile and Italy as well as New Zealand. It is the Wairarapa that she calls home and this Pinot Gris is a winner vintage after vintage. Its just been released and we love it. The 2010 got 4 stars from Michael Cooper.

Jane uses a minimal intervention approach to wine making saying, "every now and then we all need to relax, forget about the stresses of everyday life and, in the words of British wine legend Hugh Johnson, banish a little care".
