The Wairau Hills Marlborough Pinot Noir 2009 is an aromatic yet elegant wine showing aromas of dark berry fruits, cherries and spice, layers of flavour and hints of truffle. Under the guidance of their internationally renowned winemaker, Alan McCorkindale, Wairau Hills produce a range of premium Marlborough varieties that showcase the unique terroir characters and climatic conditions that they are fortunate enough to have in their region. The nose is blackberries, boysenberries and plums with a hint of vanilla. The palate includes subtle oak and mouth-filling berry flavours with hints of pepper, spice and truffles.
