The Herald Cove Marlborough Pinot Noir 2009 grapes were selected from a single vineyard then crafted into a deep ruby coloured, well balanced wine filled with aromas and flavours of cherries, raspberries and blackcurrants, complemented by hints of French oak. This wine is an example of an elegant style perfect to partner with beef and lamb dishes.
The Wairau Hills Marlborough Pinot Noir 2009 is an aromatic yet elegant wine showing aromas of dark berry fruits, cherries and spice, layers of flavour and hints of truffle. Under the guidance of their internationally renowned winemaker, Alan McCorkindale, Wairau Hills produce a range of premium Marlborough varieties that showcase the unique terroir characters and climatic conditions that they are fortunate enough to have in their region. They source only high using quality fruit from specially selected and managed vineyards and use traditional winemaking to capture the essence of Marlborough's vibrant yet elegant wines.
All the way from sunny Nelson, comes the wonderful Anchorage Nelson Pinot Noir 2011. An elegant fruit-driven style, deep luscious cherry in colour. The nose is blackberries, boysenberries and plums with a hint of vanilla. The palate includes subtle oak and mouth-filling berry flavours with hints of pepper, spice and truffles.
