Trot around the Globe and check out the L'Acciano Montepulciano D'Abruzzo 2009 from Italy. Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is a type of red wine made from the Montepulciano wine grape in the Abruzzo region of east-central Italy.

This is a medium bodied wine, with red fruit flavour and wild berry aromas. Balanced nicely with its tannins to form a robust structure. perfect with a tomato based pasta dish, of course! The Montepulciano grape is recommended for 20 of Italy's 95 provinces. Up to 10% Sangiovese is permitted to be added to the blend.
